I had a cocktail with Jimmy Page many many years ago. I was at a jazz club open jam. Right after my turn on stage, I was sitting down and this guy came up to me said he was really impressed by my playing. Having not seen a picture of him in over 20 years, I didn't know who it was!!
We were sitting and chatting about my guitar and his for an hour or so before we parted ways. It wasn't until after that someone came up to me in shock. He asked me if I knew who I was talking to. After realizing I was talking to my idol, hero and inspiration to learn guitar, I felt pretty dumb.

he was at the grand opening of the carousel that friends of mine restored last year. it was great and he is the nicest man. very down to earth and not snobby. great sense of humor (there was a dinner the night before and he was one of the speakers) and very good looking in person.
would love to see him again. he let us take photos of him and my daughter

nope not really famous but my second or third cousin the guy who helped desing the ships for POTC's and my piano teachers husband and friends helped make the game of Crazy eights
