Take-in lots of fluids (water, juice, soup). Then take a rest. The only way your body could recover is by taking a rest. Stay all day in bed if you have to.
Cheers! I also had cold which started last friday. So I stayed in bed Saturday and Sunday. Now I feel better and I am back to work!

Borrowing from Kushi "Drink kalamansi (lemon) juice with honey and brandy.....much better if it's hot. This concoction will sweat the cold out of you and if you drink enough of it you won't care if the cold has or hasn't gone.
