Who do you think is the better quarterback? ... think about this........

Tom Brady doesn't need anyone to succeed, he doesn't need to depend on great receivers. He went all the way to the AFC championship last year and lost by a short 4 points, with a rookie runningback in Laurence Maroney, a rookie kicker in Stephen Gostowski, and his so-called "weapons" in Reche "No Hands" Caldwell and Troy Brown. Yet he was able to use his skills to get him to reach that far.

Peyton Manning is nothing without his receivers. He can't win games like he used to with the injury absence of Marvin Harrison. He only does great, because he has a great veteran kicker in Adam Vinatieri, an amazing runningback in Joseph Addai, and his A+ receivers Reggie Wayne and Marvin Harrison, not to mention tight end Dallas Clark. Without this specific team on board, Peyton wouldn't be doing as well as with them. If Reggie Wayne also got injured, expect the Colts to lose first round playoffs.

Now who is the better QB?

you must be a Patriot fan

both are great QBs...who is better?...who cares, they play for different teams, with different players, in different systems with different coaches

similar question, who is better Joe Montana or Dan Marino, can't answer it, Joe had the teams, but Dan had the numbers

similar question, who is a better QB...Terry Bradshaw or Roger Stabach

you can sit there and compare any 2 QBs...but you know what, if you ask the question, then you must know that the 2 are great, then it is just splitting hairs...sit back and enjoy the 2 best QBs in this era of football, there will be 2 more before you know it

Well I don't think Brady plays that well without Moss picking up those huge plays. Last game night showed that when Moss doesn't get the ball, the Pats are not putting up those 45+pts. The Corners were all over Moss and he dropped a lot of balls that would have been huge. It's all about good defense, not necessarily the QB. The QB would suck if he wasn't protected. That is just the game of football. But to say that a QB is nothing with out his WR's is obvious. How can you be a productive QB if you don't have good WR's to catch that ball? It the same deal for all QB's.Yes,Manning does struggle without his receivers, but he isn't doing as bad and people make it seems. He is still getting completions and keeping the games close. It's been his secondary that hasn't done much in the last couple of games All has been on his shoulders because he doesn't have those core players.
It has nothing to do with who is the better QB. Every QB has a bad season/game. It doesn't make them less of a great player. But if Moss was to get injured, you can't tell me Brady wouldn't be going threw similar problems.
Both QB has different styles of playing QB. Both are great. Just leave it at that and enjoy the fact that you are witnesses 2 future hall of fame QB. Let that be enough and don't drag on with who is better. It's futile.

Well, your question is kinda biased here. I mean youre practically saying that Tom Brady is the better QB, which I agree w/ a hundred percent, but I mean, let the Peyton fans at least have a crack at the question, dont just ask the question when u already no the answer. By the way, Tom Brady is definetly a better quarterback, and I agree w/ all the stuff that you said, especially the part that w/out his A+ receivers, Manning wouldn't be good at all, shown this season, when his reciever corps started struggling

Of course you're right. Manning is among the top 10 quarterbacks in the NFL, but Brady is setting a new standard. After Brady theres big ben, favre, david garrard, and romo, they're all pretty close, about 22 qb rating points behind Brady. Then there's another group, then Mannings group. Manning's qb rating for the season is 89. What else is there to say?

Personally, I think picking which QB is better is like picking between two $50 bills or one $100 bill - you'd be happy with either choice. They're both winners and great QBs. It is true that Manning has had better recivers, but can't it also be said that he helped make the recivers better? Either way, I think you left out the most important part to both of their successes - the o-line. Without the great lineup of big uglies blocking for them, neither one would be nearly as effective as they are.

TOM BRADY!!!!!!! thats why he has 3 superbowl rings ( about to be 4) and Manning only has 1 plus he got that 1 because of an ex-Patriot (Vinatieri) if you remember he scored the winning field goal to beat the Pats last season. Manning BLOWS

Who has the annoying commercials? Would you ever log on to find out what Peyton Manning thinks is cool about minivans or whatever the commercial was? They are both great quarterbacks, but Manning has a whole second career going in bad advertising.

Its hard to say, both QB's are good regardless, people say Tom Brady is only good because of his WR's but he is also very accurate, but I would have to say this year at least Tom Brady is a lot better than Manning.

2 different style Quarterbacks

can not compare the 2 on skills

1 was brought into a system with talent around him and it was just a matter of getting the chemistry down

the other brought off the bench and is a system quarterback
he plays within the system

Peyton Manning is definetly better because he can pull through in most of the games that matter. Tom Brady relies on Moss and sunday night the eagles shut Moss down and tom brady couldn't complete a pass.!!!
