Revenge is such a negative emotion. All it does is cause problems--for you and everybody involved. You need to let your anger go and focus instead on something else. Two wrongs do not make a right, even though it MIGHT feel good to you at the time. But it is nothing more than a waste of time and effort. Forget it and move along.

Revenge is never a solution, so even if the person is wrong they should not seek revenge. Instead, find out what went wrong and find a way to fix it.

Anger and the desire for revenge ties your stomach up in knots and raises your blood pressure. Holding a grudge over a long period of time can significantly shorten your life. There are sound medical reasons why you should let bygones be bygones.

You hurt yourself more than you do anyone else.

No, revenge just escalates a cycle of violence and sadness. It creates another wrong, which scars the person who committed it. And hurts someone else.
Revenge is not satisfying for anyone.
Choose mediation, reconciliation, understanding, a new relationship.
