i mean, it just gets sickening. i'm so tired of hearing how this girl had hot sex with this guy, or how women brag about the size of their last partner's penis--or worse, how small it was.

why does sex ALWAYS have to be in the conversation? personally, i like having conversations about things people normally wouldn't talk about; things that violate societal norms.

...your thoughts?

I guess I've been going to the wrong parties. All we ever discuss is politics, the war, the economy, global warming BS, investing and our families.

Is it just girls who do that? My wife was at her sisters house yesterday & along with her sisters housemate where just casually talking about sex & quite intimatly too eg who comes more, who's bigger, who's a flop, who needs to be sent to a clinic for sex addiction blah blah. As I said, the conversation was quite involved, not just a quick "I got a root last night"
Its quite a common thing for them too.

I find myself avoiding sex topics too. However, everything leads to sex anyway, so why talk around sex? You are doing yourself a psychological disfavor by constantly trying to avoid the sex topic.

People love sex and some love to talk about it. If you don't like the coversation, find another group to talk to or find different friends.
