Can someone tell me what the average lifespan was in the 1600's and/or a website with this info?

the average lifespan in the 1600s was about 40 years old......supposedly because of low medical research and low supplies of food and money to the common people.....

Average lifespans are distorted because of very high infant mortality. Although the average may have been 40, that is distorted by very high numbers of children dying in the first few weeks of life. Once you get past that high risk time, life expectancy would be greater than 40.
