I called you a red vase that holds the remains of dead crabs?
I was called that once. I thought it was funny. Would you be offended? What would be your retort?

Haha. Love the answers, but you guys are reading too much into this. My boyfriend called me that as a retort to something I said to him and I couldn't stop laughing.

Red vase is fine , but the word "Dead" and Crab are not that funny to me !

What a very random comment. I would ignore it since it happened in the past. I can't think of a good comeback for this one. I would need to know the person to insult them. Were you wearing a tacky red outfit that had pictures of crabs?

Perhaps it seems to be funny, but in truth, it is an insult to you. My retort: "Sticks and stones may break my bones, but names will never hurt me".
Real retort: Nothing, just walk away.Do not attempt to grace such an insult with any response.

no i think it would kind of turn into an inside joke between my friends and i. my comeback would be: oh yeah, well you are a purple vase with the remains of a snake. or something else totally random like that.

i wouldnt bat an eye lid, this is so un offensive, infact
its almost artistic and i would thank them for being so original in their description of me,
it must have took them a long time to come up with and i sure am worth it.
i would assume it would be because iam a cancer and they attributed it with my tenacity.
