There are 128 ounces in a gallon now for the important question what size cups? 8 oz cups there would be 32... 12 oz would be 21 1/3... 16 oz would be 16.. and so on.

Good question. 32 cups is the answer.

quart equals 4 cups

Gallon equals 4 quarts

so a gallon equals 16 cups

2 gallons equals 32 cups

Do the math:
2 cups = 1 pint
2 pints = 1 quart
4 quarts = 1 gallon

I assume you're using 8 oz = 1 cup to start with.

How many cups are in a quart ? 4.
How many quarts are in a gallon ?4
So take 4 x 4 = 16 per gallon then add 16 + 16 = 32 cups.
break it down and it makes it easier to figure out.

Its impossible to say without specifying each cups volume or without giving some data from which volume can be found out.

If its a cylindrical cup with radius r and height h.
V=(1/3)πr²h

so answer=2/V=2/((1/3)πr²h) gallons, where V is also in gallons.
