Do the math:
2 cups = 1 pint
2 pints = 1 quart
4 quarts = 1 gallon
I assume you're using 8 oz = 1 cup to start with.

How many cups are in a quart ? 4.
How many quarts are in a gallon ?4
So take 4 x 4 = 16 per gallon then add 16 + 16 = 32 cups.
break it down and it makes it easier to figure out.

Its impossible to say without specifying each cups volume or without giving some data from which volume can be found out.
If its a cylindrical cup with radius r and height h.
V=(1/3)Ïr²h
so answer=2/V=2/((1/3)Ïr²h) gallons, where V is also in gallons.
