marilyn wanted children very badly. she never had any abortions, that's just an urban myth. she did have one or two miscarriages though in the mid to late 50's. she wanted children so that she could make their life everything that her childhood wasn't and make sure that they had everything that she didn't have when she was a child. marilyn had a very troubled childhood, her mother was mentally ill, she never knew her father, and she went from foster home to foster home - orphanage to orphanage.
