My mom wants to send my brother to juvenile hall..don't even know if she can do that. He doesn't go to school. He is rarely home and I know for fact he is running around with the older gangsters and they're most likely using him to do things..he's only 14!! Has a tattoo on his back! Family is constantly worried and stress. He comes home to change and leaves. He snuck and deleted all of his friends numbers from my mom's cell. He was suppose to go to court with my mom in September for getting caught ditching, but he never shows up at home to even go..we don't know what to do! He lies constantly. And the direction he is going, we're afraid he will end up dead. ANy advice?

she can have him put in juvenile hall, and from the sounds of it, he needs it.

Your brother definitely needs help and he needs it now! Tupelo children's mansion is a great place. Look them up online. Also have your mom call the non emergency police number and talk to them about her rights and options as a parent. He needs to be removed from the situation and friends that he's in. It's possible that he's in a gang which means he may not have the option to leave on his own. Boarding school might be an answer? Juvenile is probably not the best because you'd be locking him up with the same kind of people you are trying to get him away from. Good luck.

Well Juvi works. That's really not all that "hardcore" if you ask me. Skipping school and getting tattoos? Trust me kid it could be a whole lot worse. If you want to turn your bro into a perfect bible boy then by all means let him stay in juvi for a while. Your parents can't just "put" him in there, the courts have to decide that. If your parents can't handle him, then the court will most likely put him into foster care for a while. Good luck.

srry to say but either boot camp or juvie is the best place for him right now...if he's never home ur mom just needs to do what is best...it's worth the stress relief if she would do that.

if he doesn't go to school that's truency. and when you are truent as they call it you are breaking the law...just to keep that in mind.

Report him as missing to the police? Tell them where he may be and that he may be hanging out w/ gangsters. I'm sure if you ask them for help they will want to help you.
