My mom wants to send my brother to juvenile hall..don't even know if she can do that. He doesn't go to school. He is rarely home and I know for fact he is running around with the older gangsters and they're most likely using him to do things..he's only 14!! Has a tattoo on his back! Family is constantly worried and stress. He comes home to change and leaves. He snuck and deleted all of his friends numbers from my mom's cell. He was suppose to go to court with my mom in September for getting caught ditching, but he never shows up at home to even go..we don't know what to do! He lies constantly. And the direction he is going, we're afraid he will end up dead. ANy advice?

They only way hes gonna learn is if something bad happens to him. Sorry to say but sometimes it takes a scare to get your a** straight. But any ways, yes your mom can put him in Juvey. Why because he doesnt go to school or anything. The Law will be for it. Maybe it will teach him a lesson. I hope nothing bad happens to your brother. But ya'll need to send him to either boot camp or juvey soon if you want him to get his life together. Before he gets older and little by little he starts messing up his life. Good luck!!!

your mom cant send him to juvy but like the other person said, the court can decide. not sure what its like in your town but my friend's stepdad called the cops on him for assult and he was put on house arrest for 3 months. he broke house arrest then was sent to a somewhat prison [I think] for a month. it really depends on how law enforcement works. I was worried about my friend [he was getting into drugs and his tolerance level dropped and he became a lot more violent] so I just stopped talking to him until he realized what was more important. I don't think that would work in your situation but there are a lot of possibilities. next time you see your brother, talk to him about everything hes doing and tell him how worried you are.

Your mom can;t send him to juvie but the courts will when they catch him if he is skipping court. "Juvenile Hall" is simply jail for minors.
