My husband and I both wanted to wait another year and do some more travelling first, but last year we were in a bad accident where a semi truck lost its wheels and came through our truck. We both walked away with minor injuries in comparison to what the outcome could have been and we both decided that life is too short and too precious to wait thinking we will have another chance. It was a real eye opener for us, and it has been a great experience to bring us closer. We know that we made the right decision and look forward to including our future baby in all of our plans now as well!! We concieved in July and it ended in a miscarriage and it looks like we just got another positive hpt,so here we go again!! Planning is fun, although the waiting game to find out if it is going to be this month, is excruciating!! As long as the end result is positive - it is all worth while!!
All the very best to you!!

We tried to have a baby for three years before we actully had one. I had three miscarriges before we got lucky. I don't think there is any amount of planning that can prepare you for a baby. When we finally become pregnant with my two yr. old, it was the worst possible time. We were living with his family and trying to find a bigger house for ourselves and tada... prego! But we couldn't have been more excited because it's what we both really wanted. But babies are a lot of trouble! When my son was 4 mo. old I became preg. with my 2nd son, Benjamin, and if there is one piece of advice I have to offer it is this- make sure you are ready for two. My 2 yr. old hates his lttle bro.!!! He won't share with him, takes his toys, pushes him around, and it is a full time battle. Just be sure you are ready to add another child into the mix- very ready. Try babysitting another small child for a full day, see how your child reacts and treats them. Kids are very territorial and even though, hopefully, they will play together one day, make sure your'e good and ready for the First Years!!! Good luck!
