It looks good to me !

When you get in on Friday, ask if they have made a decision ..

If you are offered the new post you could ask what is the description of the new duties, what training will they provide, what the weekend rates will be (should be 'time and a half' for Saturday and double time for Sunday) and how soon you can expect a pay review / increase ...

If you decide to accept, ask if the Store Manager could announce your promotion to the other staff (eg. on the Notice Board) ... otherwise you will not get respect and every one will expect you to carry on doing all your old work AS WELL as the new stuff

Give them a week, and if you haven't heard anything; you might want to remind them that they were going to get back to you. If you are as good as you say, they are not going to risk losing you by ignoring your request; but they might let urgent matters overtake important ones (like your career).
