Are you satisfied with an "almost loss" or is an actaul loss the only thing that will make you happy? If they go undefeated this year will you say to your son some day "yes, but they almost lost to the eagles"?

Bottom line is the Eagles played a great game. I'm not making any excuses, except giving the Eagles the credit they deserve for a great game.

If they go undefeated, I'll never say "but they almost lost to the Eagles." That's ridiculous.

On a somewhat related note. I think you confuse hate with lack of respect. Do I hate the Patriots? Yes, I always have and always will. Do I respect the talent they have and what the team is capable of? HELL YES! They are an excellent team and are loaded with talent and I repsect that, but I still hate the Patriots.

Not a Pat hater but what their narrow win does say is that on any given week anyone can be beat. And I'd bet that is exactly what Bellichick told them all after the game. As good as the Pats are, nothing is a sure thing. Philly played a good game and other than a poor pass at the end, Philly came as close as anyone has this year to beating NE.

Doesnt matter if u win by 1 pt or 50 pts, a win is a win, and a loss does not appear, some days you play better other days you play a little worse, just because the Eagles almost won, doesnt mean the Pats suck or that they should've lost. Haters bring it, but reality shows that they're a great team.

The Eagles played great against the Pats. But they still lost. And I'm not going to use it as an excuse for anything.

The real question is: what will all of you arrogant Pats fans use as your excuse when they finally lose a game?

If the Pats go undefeated....I would say "good job Pats". But I'm not sure arrogant folks like yourself would be humble enough to say anything when your season doesn't turn out perfect. So until they win all 16 regular season games.....keep your arrogance to yourselves.

KBRO, in 2005 colts went 14-0 and were summarily dismissed in their first playoff game, got their butts kicked, but for some horrible ref calls and the bettis fumble that kept the game close...

so you oughtn't talk if the pats go 16-0 and lose in the playoffs...

Pat fans like you usually justify most people's opinions about the Pats. So keep up the ignorant work!

not just that.. but we can also say.. they have a horrible division.. in fact the easiest division.. and even if u do go undefeated... u guys will have alot of pressure to win it all.. cause if u dont win it all.. then ur belicheat and ur rats will always be known as the team who went undefeated but couldnt win it all...
so as a colts fan.. u can have the undefeated record and we can have the super bowl
