You could but stand well away when the car starts up. the soda water will gradually heat up and there will be a bit of a bang and your wedding tackle will be spread all over creation.

Definitly NOT!! You will get a violent reaction between the acid in the battery and the alkaline soda water. If the tap water in your area is soft,(not limey)it is quite acceptable.

Hi
Not on your Nelly!! Go to your local autofactors and buy a tub of de-ionised water. Then you can use the soda water to top up your glass of whiskey afterwards whilst you ponder the lucky escape you just had!
Very best regards
Geordie

No! you can buy distilled water in motor accessory shops for a pound, or if you have a condenser tumble dryer, empty the water tank through a coffee machine filter and you can use that instead.

distilled water would have to have a ph level of 7 exactly and soda water doesnt have a ph level of 7, it has a ph level of 3.5 which is waaay to acidic. ive heard that you can buy distilled water in an automotive store but i dont know for sure.
