I've recently got divorced and now I've been talking to this guy almost a month. We live about 45 minutes apart...so we've only seen each other a few times and hooked up. We text everyday but don't call each other everyday. He says he doesn't have a girlfriend and no other friends with benefits. How can you ever be for sure? It's hard to make plans to get together b/c we both work full time and we both have one kid. He's with his about 5 days out of the week and mine's with me everyday. I just don't want to be the "other woman" but it's hard to know for sure in this case.

Try a babysitter so you can have some more time together. First off if you are worried about this why are you hooking up before you know. I don't see what else you can do except spend some more time with him and see if he can be trusted he has told you he doesn't so either trust him or dump him.

This does not sound like the start of a good relationship. If he really wanted to start a real relationship with you he would make time and arrangements to see you. There would be no excuse.
Why not make a date with the kids? You will always be the other woman if you just meet him to hook up...Good Luck.

You can never be sure.Tell tale signs include not giving his home number,never letting you go to his house,etc. It will be hard to trust again if you are just divorced but try not let it ruin other relationships.Dont let him make excuses as to not seeing you,he may be hiding something.

have you been to his house if not there is probably anouther woman try to spend time together with your kids they could use the extra friend too. children don't have to be a baracade the can be the chain that keeps you together i know my daughter has always been the deciding factor in my relationships and she has always been honest with me about them
