Tricks on the human brain?

I am doing research on the ability to trick your own brain (ex- telling your self your going to smell an orange but sniff a banana and smell orange) where could I find information on this and what could I type into the search engine?

I need some all ready published info

Try "illusions," "Illusions of taste," "PubMed/illusions of taste," " Hallucinations" for a number of informative links. Wikipedia in an illusion entry has much info, references and external links etc.
