My 8th grade English teacher. She had flaming red hair, she was dramatic, articulate, had a love of the English language and had us do interesting and fun projects. She took a special interest in me and invited me over to her house during summer vacations to spend time with her and her grandchildren. I learned a lot about gardening, floral arranging, crafts and about being a responsible citizen and good person from her during a time when my folks were going through a divorce and not being very good people. She instilled an importance in learning and education that I carry with me to this day. And, she was a wonderful mentor who wrote upon the slate of my soul. RIP Mrs. T

I was very close to my older brother who passed away a few years ago. He was always had good advice for me when I needed it and he had a great sense of humor. We lived far apart, but we would talk alot on the phone especiallly during football season. He loved sports and knew a lot about all the teams and players.
