Yes - because I've taken the time to research both his views and his past voting history. For those who feel he is an isolationist, please provide your source, from Paul's website:
"At the same time, we must not isolate ourselves. The generosity of the American people has been felt around the globe. Many have thanked God for it, in many languages. Let us have a strong America, conducting open trade, travel, communication, and diplomacy with other nations."
In fact what he is against is waging wars among other nations, or being the world's police:
"Today, we have troops in 130 countries. We are spread so thin that we have too few troops defending America. And now, there are new calls for a draft of our young men and women.
We can continue to fund and fight no-win police actions around the globe, or we can refocus on securing America and bring the troops home. No war should ever be fought without a declaration of war voted upon by the Congress, as required by the Constitution."
Under no circumstances should the U.S. again go to war as the result of a resolution that comes from an unelected, foreign body, such as the United Nations."
And for those that feel that libertarian policy is dangerous, yes, I suppose in a way personal responsibility can be frighting.
Do your own research - read Paul's positions, look at his voting record, listen to what his constituents have to say about him, and lastly get your information from many sources, not just the mainstream media.
Thanks!!

Yes! Definitely! His voting record proves he follows up with what he says he will do! He actually has refused to take money from Medi-care and stuff because doesn't want to cost the taxpayers more! Wow! You don't see Hillary refusing any pensions that are offered her. Dr. Ron Paul is,by far, the most Consitutional candidate.

I always apply the same litmus test to all politicians: I gather as much information on their policies as I can, and I pick the one that matches mine the most. I also weigh in votability considerations (i.e. how likely it is the person will win). So far for me it's a tossup between McCain and Paul, but if McCain is not looking good come election time I'll vote for Paul because I think he might pull some surprising punches in voter turnout, and most of his policies completely match mine.

I am because I think we have strayed away from the constitution and he is the only one interested in bringing us back to a constitutional republic.
He's really only a Republican in name.

I really wonder why so many people, not just RP...are running for President.
It is disgusting how many people take advantage of the loop-hole in the campaign funding laws that allows candidates to keep the money raised for their personal gain. They may use this for future political campaigns, RETIREMENT, or leave it to their FAMILY! SEE LINK!

There is one big issue for which I commend Dr. Paul; he has consistently voted the way I prefer on the Pro-Life issue!
