Don't worry! :) Most of the time women will not be able to feel their babies heartbeat, even at full term. If you are very thin, and do not have much "extra tissue" you may, later on, be able to feel it, but the chances are slim. If you are the worrying type you can buy the at home little monitors, and listen to baby all day! :) They work pretty well, and there are even places that you can rent them for 9 months from. If you get too worried the stress can be harmful to your little one. Get plenty of sleep and if you get worried and have that bad feeling something is wrong call the OBGYN or your midwife and get a checkup to be sure. :) Congratulations and Good Luck!

What do you mean? Are you saying you are not feeling the baby move? It's impossible to feel the heart actually beating. If the baby is not moving, he might just be sleeping. At 21 weeks, it's very early to expect regular movement. You can drink something cold and sweet to see if he'll move or if you are very concerned you can call your physician or midwife.

You cant feel a babys heart beat, but you can hear it if you have a dopler machine and even they dont always pick it up. if you dont feel him move at least 10 times in 12 hours then go hospital straight away. if you are still worried about the heart beat thing then go and see your doc. All the best!

you can not feel heartbeat , you can hear it if you used a doppler machine.
If you mean movement, sometimes babies might settle into a position and not move for a while.
If you are really freaking out go to the ER. Pregnant women can go to the ER for things like this. Its normal to worry.

You can't feel his heartbeat, even at 40 weeks pregnant. You have layers of fat, and muscle, and the uterun wall is pretty thick too. Sometimes I feel a pulsating when I put ym hand on my tummy, which is in synch with my heartbeat. That's just my own blood flow.

You can't feel his heart beat. I don't know what you've been feeling, possibly the artery in your abdomen. But certainly not his heart.
