I am 17 Years old and I was given a 1989 cavalier z24 2 door. The only thing wrong with the car is the seatbelts and some water leakage. The car sat for a while but still runs great so I plan to keep it on the onther hand the seatbelts don't work at all they are covered in rust and mold and nobody will even touch them.

I eaither need to get them replaced or replace them myself but I cant figure out where to get it done.
I live in Kansas City Missouri by Grandview 64134 zip

Does anybody have any idea how much I should expect to spend or where to even go???

New belts can run around 100-150.00 plus installation...check around for quotes at local dealers or bodyshops. Used belts from a salvage yard may be an option too. Maybe try cleaning your old ones first with good strong soap and hot water.
This site has lots of info on finding a good local repair shop.......just plug in your zip code.

THE REASON THAT NOBODY WILL WORK ON THEM IS BECAUSE OF THE LIABILITY THAT WILL FOLLOW THEM.

JUST GO TO YOUR LOCAL SALVAGE YARD OR TRY EBAY.
