Red cars are the worst...the paint tint is made from rose petals. All paint colors will fade to a certain extent from exposure to the sun. Metallics are somewhat better.

All paint will fade over time. The cheaper the paintjob, ususally the faster the paint will fade. Get a good clearcoat over the whole car, multiple layers, and it will help keep the pain nice for a very very long time.
