How many breakups does it take for a guy 2 stop taking u serious and wants to stop trying to work things out?

Well depends on the guy. Some guys take every relationship serious, and a bigger percent of guys do not until they met someone special. Age can also be a factor. When in college guys are introduced to many different types of women so this may be a hard time to try to get into a relationship. If your always fighting and going back and forth the relationship may not be worth it. The good must outweigh the bad. I do know that at least 2 people had a long relationships, the guy broke up with them and than within a month or so they were engaged. I guess it was the break they needed before marriage. Anyway no real way to answer this, the best thing is to tell him to be honest and tell you exactly where he wants out of the relationship.

My ex and I were friends first, dated for three years off and on. At the end I knew it wouldent work because after all our fights and all that was said in anger we could never trust eachother again, we are still friends after seven years. As for how many it takes, I guess it depends, for me it was four. You have to decide for yourself when "enough is enough!"

If you're playing silly games like this, you're not mature enough to sustain a relationship. Perhaps it's time for you to start taking things a little more seriously.

It depends on the boy - if he's smart, then one would be enough to know that you're not serious about him and he'd move on.
Let it be a lesson - don't make threats if you're not willing to suffer the consequences.

it could go on forever, and once they know you will take them back..they really don't take you serious. When they take you serious is when you are really done and decide you don't want them back.
