I'm sure you'd rather not, but here it is anyway.

In 2001, the United States National Academy of Sciences was commissioned by the Bush administration to assess the current understanding of global climate change. Its report, published in June 2001, stated:
“The IPCC’s conclusion that most of the observed warming of the last 50 years is likely to have been due to the increase in greenhouse gas concentrations accurately reflects the current thinking of the scientific community on this issue.”

"[T]he overwhelming majority of scientists who work on climate change agree on the main
points, even if there is still some uncertainty about particular aspects, such as how the concentration of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere will change in the future."

Oh wait, I forgot you don't like to read. No wonder you've never seen the proof.

Sure there was a consensus that the earth was flat at one time.

BUT THOSE WEREN'T SCIENTISTS WHO FORMED THE CONSENSUS.

Nice red herring though.

Go read the rest of the report, Harley. It's too long to post in its entirety here.

I DARE YOU.

And there is more !
The IPCC reports from this year also !
Those reports have essentially put an end to the scientific debate.
Their are NO credible scientists that are disputing the reports !
Rajendra Pachauri the scientist that lead the IPCC said it this way
" the calculations are so simple that even a high-school kid can do them ... we have a pretty serious crisis on our hands"

well, if you read more than just that one report you would have learned that more and more scientist give less validity to global warming, created by man. who do you think profits from all this. big business. as many reports say man is so insignificant his contribution is minimal and the globe has cooled and heated up to many times to count. it was thirty degrees hotter at one pony and, in 72/73 time reported global cooling on the horizon. funny, people won't vote because they think their vote does not count but, think a few hundred thousand cars will make a difference. and this is not proof, it is the opinion of some respected scientist, just like those who say global warming is not our fault. maybe if we could create another krakotoa(volcano) explosion we could cool the world back down. it dropped almost three degrees last eruption. there is you solution. and stop being mean. did your parents teach you no better?

Consensus is not science. It is a collection of similar opinions. I have heard many scientists say the global warming fears are just hysteria. No scientist disputes the existence of gravity. We may not understand how it works, but it does exist.
Global warming is a fact. The sun has been shining on the earth for billions of years. That is a fact no scientist will refute.

You can't have science by consensus. There was consensus that the earth was flat that doesn't make it true. I prefer to follow facts instead of decisions when "science" is the basis for a discussion.

Hey. I personally like to hear both sides of the debate. But its not the predictions that will get you, its the reality.

You posted parts of 3 paragraphs, none complete and in context, and asserted that there's no room for doubt.

Who is it that doesn't like to read???

Funny you didn't mention the scientists that do disagree with it. Who really isn't reading, or do you just read what you want to hear?
