There are still a lot of buried treasures in inaccessible places like tropical jungles, hidden caves and high mountain ranges but today most undiscovered treasures lie at the bottom of the world's oceans. Professional treasure hunters and research specialists find them every year but some of them are still found by accident.

Depends on what you define as treasure. Like once I found a quarter sticking up from my backyard. Not exactly buried, but kind of like treasure. If you are talking about a chest of gold. It's not likely. :(

Yes deffenitely, there are treasures burried in probably all countries of the world. Probably even very important ones, it's just a question of time until people put their hands on their map. But some of them might not have map, that rather got lost or misplaced, there's chances that they get discovered one day maybe...

Yes, there are many legitimate stories of hidden treasures. My neighbor used a metal detector and found a cache of gold French coins! I, on the other hand, used a metal detector and found a broken clothes hanger. Figures!
