There are 100 cm in 1 m (evident).
There are 60 minutes in an hour, 24 hours in a day and 7 days in a week; ergo, there are 60 × 24 × 7 = 10080 minutes in a week.

So we have 5(cm)/(min) × 1(m)/100(cm) × 10080(min)/1(week) = 504 m/week.

Feel free to email me for any clarifications.

5 cm = .05 m since 100 cm in a meter
60*24 to find how many minutes in a day
1440*7 for 7 days( a week)
10080 seconds a week
10080 sec.*.05 for each second
504m/week

at 5 cm/min .

Minutes in WEEK = 60 X 24 X 7 = 10080 MIN.
CM IN A WEEK = 10080 X 5 = 50400 cm/wk.
metres/week = 50400/100 = 504 m/wk.

We know, that 1 m = 100 cm; 1 week = 7 days; 1 day = 24 hr;
1 hr = 60 min.
We can use this conversion factors to convert 5 cm/min to m/week.

(5 cm/min)(60 min/1hr)(24 hr/1day)(7 days/1 week)(1m/100cm)
= 574 m/week ANS

Notice as we move from left to right I made use of the conversion factor that will cancel one of the units in the given: in this case I chose to convert min to week first. Then, I converted cm to m. In the conversion factor, the unit that you want to cancel appears either on the numerator or denominator to effect cancellation. You continue doing this as you go along.
