Well this week me and my hubby are moving into a new subdivision. I love the area, and the neighbors seem nice. I would like to introduce myself without coming off as a weird person. I just want to do something nice. Any advice ? Thanks

Could give a housewarming party for yourself.Get a few cakes and order a few pizzas or party subs.Make up flyers that say open invitation at noon to 4 pm this Saturday.That you are new here and would like to know about schools and stores and meet your neighbors.

Why not just go up to someone and introduce yourself as the new person in the neighborhood? Start with the people on either side of you or across the street. No one should think you are weird for wanting to get to know the neighors. Perhaps you could have a "house warming" party and invite the neighborhood.

I always bring cookies on a glass plate.
(Then they have to come visit you to return the plate)

You could go door to door introducing yourself.
