Virginia has the highest standards for teachers in the country. If you can teach in VA, then you can teach anywhere.

How come people are so sloppy about capitals? If you want to be a teacher, you should learn to write correctly. Decide what you want, then apply. I teach in California. I know teachers are needed especially in the poorer schools. Visit different schools and either volunteer or substitute teach there. No one but yourself can tell you what is best for you.

It may come down to where you get offered a job. If only 1 offer, you may have to go to that state. That is reality. Stay away from Florida. Nice weather, but school systems not the best.

New York. While a lot of places accept Virginia certification EVERYWHERE accepts NY certification. Unlike Maryland, where I currently teach, you don't have to renew your NY certification. It lasts a lifetime which is awesome.

Judging by your errors, I would say you were writing quite quickly . Are you serious about taking a post as a teacher ?
You'll have to get used to checking your pupils work and your own a thousand times ! Are you up for that kind of work and ready for criticism ?
