Hard to say because rednecks exist everywhere, but in my travels I've never seen people be more proud of the fact that they are, than rednecks who are also Texans.
However Texas has so many people, there are a lot who are not that way.
If I were guessing percentages, again from experience, I would say West Virginia. So WV is my answer

My top three candidates and why:
1. Colorado. Has the Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame. Nuff said.
2. Nevada. Forget the Vegas/Reno gambler image. Ever been to Ely or Austin, NV? Unofficial motto is "The Rodeo State". Hosts the rodeo finals.
3. West Virginia. Most redneck joke references. Hosts NASCAR at Martinsburg.

I think that this is a stupid question. The only reason I'm even bothering to answer this is for the points. You shouldn't discriminate on a state just because it's southern, it that's what you're saying. Any state can have rednecks.
