Fact remains most republicans dont actually care about those things. Most Republicans are for

-nutty religion rammed down our throats
-holding war as a viture
-big business drowning out the working class
-Increased social spending when it suits their agenda.

Good list you got there. Sounds great, but who really cares?
Democrats maybe.

1.) Absolutely necessary, and completely achievable, so long as greater oversight on welfare is used.
2.) Unemployment is fairly low right now. But the market is strong.
3.) Not overly difficult.
4.) not a concern, nor should the government have anything to do with this, except for REAL sex-ed.
5.) reread #4
6.) again, just a matter of better enforcement.

I could do it. but you'll have to wait 12 years for the first election after I turn 35.

1) Why only 60, why not 100%. Get rid of welfare entirely.
2) This is not the president's job.
3) Again, not the president's job. You can never get rid of poverty, it's not possible.
4) The president can not affect how many teenagers have sex. Why just decrease abortions, get rid of them.
5) The president can not affect this.
6) The only thing the president could do would be to enforce the laws, and maybe push for stiffer penalties.

Most of the things you listed are beyond the president's control according to the Constitution.

Really that would be God. There is no man capable of doing that but naturally there are plenty who'd like to claim they were responsible for it.
Credit given to a president for those things would definitely be misguided-but it would be par for a politician to say it and the public to buy it.

Would he also put our nation and the world at risk by not participating in international policing? By not confronting threats to the nation and the world? Allowing genocide and other crimes against humanity occur without assisting the victims ...because it's not our business?

And, any President has control over this how?

This question is symbolic of why our Nation may officially be done. This idea that the President, our national daddy as that long-haired idiot in the one 1996 debate so pathetically put it, has this kind of power. Simply pathetic.
