i cant find one book that can hold a candle to it! any books with the same deep romance with a twist of excitment, thrills & adventure. doesnt realy have to involve vampires.

This is a series of 10 books {we've been waiting 9 years for book 10!}, which were written about 12 years ago.
They are set in the modern world, and feature Vampires, Shapeshifters, Witches, and other supernatural characters. Each book is it's own dramatic romance, but they all interconnect as well, and move along in a chronological order.

A few I've really enjoyed almost as much as Twilight are:
Tithe/Valiant/Ironside by Holly Black (fairies)
Hawksong by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes (shapeshifters)
The Morganville Vampire books by Rachel Caine (vampires, in case you couldn't guess LOL)
Red Handed/Blacklisted by Gena Showalter (aliens)
Twilight is still my favorite book, but these are the ones who come closest in my opinion.

Well I don't know any and I wish I did, but when the next book comes out, remember to read it!!!!!=) It's called Breaking Dawn if you didn't know!! It's coming the fall of 2008!!! I CAN'T WAIT!!!=) I love them!! in New Moon I felt like me heart was torn and I cried for 1 day and a couple of chapters!!!LOL=) My favorite out of them was Twilight!!!! It was the only book that really was all about Bella and Edward!! I don't really care about Jacob,sorry Jacob!!!=)
