At what age did you start feeling old? Or at what age do you think you'll start feeling old?

I started to noticed a bit about age 52. All of a sudden, I heard music by artists that I had never heard of. That was shortly after my kids moved out.

I do not feel old, I just feel "experienced". I do look old however. The lesson for young people is that you too will get old. Just because you do does not mean you have to give up trying new things and enjoying whatever you want. There are lots of cool people out there with gray hair and slightly outdated clothing.

I started feeling old when I was about 16...

I think it has more to do with experience in "life" than with physical aging.

But aging surely doesn't help!

Well, I am 55 now. I will probably start feeling old about 10 years after I die since I alway say old age starts ten years older than me. . .

It's not really at an age, it's just hearing people talk about old things, such as:
When people talk about childhood toys comparing them to new ones, or TV shows especially.
Or
I rarely see my cousins and whenever I hear they had a birthday I ask how old they are, but as they get older I still see them as little kids. I feel old when they grow old.

But I feel old and I am only 18!

When I hit 40, I started to realize I was getting older...but mid 40's I see that I don't bounce back as fast after being sick, or if I injure myself..it just stays an injury....when I was a kid (20's) we used to climb up a ladder on to the roof of our house to paint the second story...then instead of using the ladder, we would hang off the roof and drop (I figure about 7 foot ....if you consider our bodys with arms extended were about another 7 feet) ....Never even a thought to being injured...just got right up....now, I am sure I'd break my legs!!!

I'm 31! Don't feel old but can't believe how times have changed and how fast time goes by! Now more so than when I was in my 20's. I know that I will never feel old. Maybe weaker but all the wiser<------is that a word?
