Im in high school, and my class has a phone interview with Noam Chomsky on Friday.

My teacher wants the class to come up with 3 questions each to ask him

The problem is, I cant think of anything to ask.

If you were going to ask Mr. Chomsky a question[s], what would it they be?

Im basically asking for questions to ask him because I cant think of any

noam chomsky is world famous for his radical political view and his genius at linguistics... you can get a lot of material on either topics...

for Political View---
please explain the pros and cons of globalization.

what is your opinion on the US role as the world police?

Who do you think is the best Presidential candidate?

What can we as citizens/high school students do to change the status quo? I mean against the overpowering lobbying power of the corporations? do we even have a winning chance?

For Linguistics----
How do languages change over a period of time? for example, the root of English is Germanic... but English has very little resamblance to German.

What are the theories for origins of human languages?

How do people decipher the ancient text? since no one speak them any more?

I would ask him the following:

1) Do you believe that intellectuals such as yourself have a superior abilities compared to regular people?

2) Do you believe that the cozy and protected environment enjoyed by college professors is fair to regular working people who struggle to pay the ever growing cost of attending college?

3) Do you think the country would be better off if the Unabomber (Ted Kaczynski) had been more skilled in his hobby?
