The only ones that fit into the "A" category are Kent and Schilling.

The "B" category players I would say are Reyes, Wright, Cabrera, Chipper, Hanley Ramirez, Berkman, Vlad, Wagner, Ichiro, and Howard. Andruw Jones will be borderline, but his defense may get him in. Also, Sheffield is going to need 500 HR to get in.

You need 10 years MLB service to make the HOF as a player, so most of the players you listed couldn't make it if they retired today. I'll list those who I think would make it if they retired today, then the entire list if they had a normal career pattern based upon their age and what they have already accomplished.

(A) If Retired Today

Chipper Jones
Vlad Guerrero
Gary Sheffield (although it pains me to say it)
Curt Schilling

(B) Continue their pace for the rest of their careers

Jose Reyes - yes
David Wright - yes
Miguel Cabrera - yes
Hanley Ramirez - yes
Chipper Jones - yes
Andruw Jones - yes
Jimmy Rollins - 50/50
Lance Berkman - no
Carlos Lee - 50/50
Vlad Guerrero - yes
Carl Crawford - yes
Carlos Beltran - 60/40
Billy Wagner - 40/60
Aramis Ramirez - 50/50
Alfonso Soriano - 60/40
Gary Sheffield - yes
Carlos Delgado - 50/50
David Ortiz - two more seasons like the last 5, then yes
Curt Schilling - yes
Ichiro - yes
Ryan Howard - yes
Chase Utley - 60/40 (he'll already be 29 next year with only 3 good years in the book)
Matt Holiday - 50/50
Grady Sizemore - yes
Jeff Kent - 50/50

Thanks for the question!

The players are:
1. Jose Reyes--if he doesn't drop off he has a good shot.
2. David Wright--same as above
3. Miguel Cabrera--Should make it easily. Early start to career and was great from day 1.
4. Hanley Ramirez--Will depend if he stays at SS. If moved to a corner OF slot he loses a little something.
5. Chipper Jones--Borderline guy now I think he gets in.
6. Andruw Jones---Early start but really hasn't been great. I think he has a solid career but not a HOF one.
7. Jimmy Rollins--Has the MVP needs another six good to great years.
8. Lance Berkman---Has to stay a big bat for five years. Another bad year could hurt him.
9. Carlos Lee---Just doesn't seem like a HOF to me. Occasional great numbers but didn't do enough when younger.
10. Vlad Guerrero--Would take a massive drop off to keep him out.
11. Carl Crawford--I don't think he makes it if he stays with the Rays. Seems like a Andruw Jones type. Gray area for me.
12. Carlos Beltran--No, to many down years already in his career.
13. Billy Wagner--Closers have a tough time getting in, Wagner just not dominate enough when you consider the guys that were doing the job in his era. Hoffman and Rivera are in I don't know if there is room for a third.
14. Aramis Ramirez--He would have to post some monster years
15. Alfonso Soriano--if he were the age that he was orginally thought he'd have a shot.
16. Gary Sheffield--He'll be a borderline type, not a first ballot but I wouldn't be surprised if he got in.
17. Carlos Delgado--He seems to be going into the crapper earlier then he should. Going with no
18. David Ortiz--Didn't do enough in his youth. He'll be the anti-Rice who didn't do enough after 30.
19. Curt Schilling--If he can get to 225-250 wins he's in. The 2004 NY series all but sealed it for him
20. Ichiro Suzuki--I think he'll have to get some late start credit because I don't think the numbers will be there but I think he gets in because there will be a push to get a Japan born player in.
21. Ryan Howard--Unless Howard has monster seasons he's not getting in. Started to late, Adam Dunn who is a very similar hitter has a better shot. Dunn is only a week older.
22. Chase Utley--Late start again, would have to have say four to five more great seasons in him and another four that are mearly good. Helps that he's a 2B.
23. Matt Holiday--one good year and one truely great to early to tell.
24. Grady Sizemore--I think he has to take his game up another level, but I think he has the talent to do it as well.
25. Jeff Kent--Already a HOF player, just not a first ballot one.

Yes: Schilling (3000 Ks).

Almost there: Both Joneses (but I'm starting to doubt it with both), Guerrero, Kent (if he weren't the all-time HR leader among second basemen, I'd say no, but he's got a shot).

Big question mark due to steroid questions: Sheffield.

Big question mark due to combining U.S. & Japan stats: Suzuki.

Too soon to tell: Reyes, Wright, Cabrera, H. Ramirez, Rollins, Crawford, Beltran, Soriano, Delgado (a year ago, I'd have said probably, but not now), Ortiz, Howard, Utley, Holiday, Sizemore.

No: Berkman, Lee, Wagner, A. Ramirez.

Keep in mind, at one point all these guys were sure HOFers, and none of them made it, for various reasons: Dick Allen, Tony Conigliaro, Thurman Munson, George Foster, Dave Parker, Jim Rice, Dwight Gooden, Darryl Strawberry, Don Mattingly, Albert Belle, Roberto Alomar.

You have alot of Mets in there...mets fan? I am! Let's see, hall of fame?
Reyes, Wright, Cabrera, Hanley, Chipper, Beltran, Wagner, Delgado, Soriano, Big Papi, Schilling, Ichiro, Ryan Howard, Chase, Matt Holiday, Grady---best player alive, and Jeff Kent. Don't forget about Mike Piazza

answering B is an obvious yes for all of them, except maybe andruw jones, delgado, wagner, sizemore, sheffield, and kent. others are too young, like reyes and hanley ramirez are a possibility, but i'd likely say no, unless they start stealing 70 bags a year, and david wright is a big no. i dont see him keeping it up, though i may be wrong. lets stick to A

the answers are yes for the following.... if they retire today they are in the hall of fame.

Schilling
Vlad Guerrero
Chipper
Lets not forget Trevor Hoffman

I won't predict for anyone with less than ten years. Too many pathways to follow, and careers are never nicely matched to the standard arc.

Hall likely: Chipper, Vlad, Ichiro (for him I make an exception to my ten-year minimum), and strong maybe for Andruw.

I could see several others making it, but these are the only ones for which I feel the good mojo.

if they retired today, kent and schilling and chipper, maybe, but perhaps not on the first ballot...vlad guerrero is the only first ballot hof'er, if he reired today, ichiro will also be a first round inductee, but with "only" seven years right now, he needs a few more 200+ hit years, then a shoe-in first ballot.

And whomever said (above), "had ichiro played his entire career in the majors, he would break all hit records" was dead on.

The rest need many good years, but a few names that could (should) are utley, sizemore and wright, right?
