How to Obtain a PLC's financial records?

Question

Currently writing a dissertation on music piracy and would like to have the profit & loss and balance sheets of major record labels from the last few years. I'd like to know how about doing this.

Are you one who is concerned with the rights of others who now wants to get PRIVATE records of a company's finances? If such records are not available on the internet, buy a share of stock in each company, and ask for their Profit and Loss statements. If they are a privately held company they will tell you in what direction you should go.
