Still think illegals aren't a problem...About 60 Islamic terrorists are now in the US due to porous borders?

This was just exposed by Sarah Carter, a reporter from the Washington Times. In May, FBI and DEA received reports from Mexico on border intrusions. Approximately 60 Afghan and Iraqi terrorists and high power weapons have made their way into the US through tunnels built by Mexican drug cartels. They apparently paid the drug lords about $20,000 (or the equivalent in weapons) for safe passage through their smuggling routes.

Not all the details are known, but among other things, they do know these terrorists are/were planning an attack on Fort Wachuca. To date, the location of these terrorists in the US is unknown.

Is this another example of illegals doing jobs Americans don't want to do?

Neil...I think you certainly have a point. But employment is NOT the only reason illegals are swarming over the border. And even where it is the reason, you can't possibly catch all the employers...maybe some of the big fish...but the little guys will just learn how to avoid the nets. And as the whole point of my question illustrates, if for no other reasons, we need to control the borders for security reasons.

But our borders are safe. Ask any representative or senator. They have first hand knowledge and claim we don't have any idea of what we are talking about.
The possiblity of terrorists getting in is just a scare tactic by those against the illegals. Its pure racism.

Flood the tunnels and keep them flooded. The Chinese built a 1600 mile long wall several thousand years ago, yet modern US technology and know-how can't do the same from Mexicali, California to Corpus Christi, Texas?

Maybe the "officials" like "Mexican party favors" a little too much, yes?

A wall is just a waste of tax dollars to appease a group of racists.

If you really want to end illegal immigration, jail anyone that employs any illegal.

Once the jobs dry up, the immigration problem will dry up.

But American businessmen would rather sell out their own country for cheap labor.

With the dollar in the toilet, Americans can't afford to hire Americans.

here is a suggestion, how about bringing all of our troops home, re-deploying them to the boarders(Canada/Mexico) and march until they hit the end of land.that way there will be no more illegal aliens, then we could keep all other countries out.
