By going all outs against Romney, isn't Giuliani bringing Romney up to "competetion status"? Is he doing this because all candidates tend to choose another candidate whom to beat up in order to get notoriority themselves, espececially if they're running out of things to "promise" to the public; even at the risk of making the opponent better known in the process???

I don't like this article, mostly because Giuliani doesn't have a leg to stand on. First of all, Romney can appoint people to the State supreme Court, but he cannot control them, and so he can hardly be held responsible for someone else's actions.

Also, Romney has always been at the competition status, Giuliani has just failed to recognize him. But as Romney has become more and more of a threat, Giuliani can no longer ignore him, and so he has to acknowledge him. The only reason the other candidates are picking on him is because he's MORMON, and they don't like it. But why should the religious preference of the candidate matter if he is going to do what needs to be done while in office? The fact-of -the matter is that it doesn't, and the other candidates know they are in trouble because he has better policies then they do and they know it.

Giuliani is only a city mayer. Romney is a Governor of many cities. Can Giuliani be elected as a Governor of new york or a senator from new york ? The answer is no.

Giuliani believes that crime prevention and control is one of his strong suits. So why not control the debate and place your opponent on the defensive,
