Giggly,
I my own SUBJECTIVE opinion: yes! But then I never took to dolls and fantasy play. I didn't like fire engines or toy soldiers, either. I liked creative and building projects. I'm an artist, and divide my time between painting and sculpting.

Alas, I have learned to be OBJECTIVE as well, and in my experience, I know both men and women who enjoy dolls and collecting them and building dioramas with them. My own aunt, who will be 80 in January, collects expensive antique dolls, and makes dolls. She started this around 20 years ago. When I was married, my husband loved creating models and building dioramas. I also have a friend I grew up with who built an amazing doll house with his sister, that was valued at over $25,000 about 18 years ago. When she died 13 years ago, he took, and maintains the house in his living room. None of these people is gay, weird, or in any way unnatural.

So no, it's not weird. Just think of all those men who build model railroads, or the Renaissance Fair people, etc. Just another of us humans roaming the planet.

I don't know the McDreamy dolls because I mostly collect older dolls, but I have alot of friends (my friends are all doll collectors) who do collect the modern dolls and I don't think they are weird at all! Variety is the spice of life!

There's a McDreamy doll? I think it's weird. I wouldn't buy it unless I was way into Patrick Dempsey and collected things like that - merchandizing for shows. Can't say I'd buy it for anyone either. Weird.

Let's get one thing straight: He's NOT THAT HOT! He looks like every other male fourth-year student I see in the hallway! He's McAverage!

Now that that's done, yes, it is pretty weird to want an actor in 11.5-inch plastic form.

Why would that be weird? Just because the license says your an adult doesn't mean your mind has to agree...

not creepy, maybe just immature. then again, if there was a jim from "the office" doll, i might be tempted, so who am i to judge? ;) but really, more than anything, it's a waste of your money.
