Ron Paul's policies are flawed. Simple as that.
<5% approval rating indicates America agrees.

I get the same thing when I say; I support Hillary.
By the way, I would never give a thumbs down just because I don't like the candidate.
It won't make a difference any way, people will vote whoever they like anyway.
I know; I am still voting for Hillary if she wins the primary so...thumbs down away.

I honestly have not given one thumbs down for any Ron Paul supporters.
I don't know enough about the man to have an opinion either way.
He has some very visible supporters here in my small community.
Perhaps he's worth looking into.

There are so many thumbs down because so many people have gotten sick to death of the internet Paul supporters who come in regularly and leave campaign ads thinly designed as questions. If you question them or don't agree with them then they descend into name calling immediately. People in here got tired of it, I think that's really all there is to it. So it's a knee jerk response now. Often his supporters will carry on about him in questions that don't even have him as the subject matter, and they get thumbed down almost as a reflex action from many people.

I find that the "thumbs" rating up or down does not accurately express anything. Some thumbs mean "I agree or disagree with you" while others mean "good or bad answer" or "your copy & paste answer was too long for me to bother reading it" irregardless of the content. Still others represent immature trolling efforts. Since it is impossible to read intent in to the thumb, I find it best not to assign too much importance to it either way.

Yeah, and he'll lead the charge to retreat in the face of victory in Iraq too. When I see hippie wannabes in tie dyed tee shirts driving scooby doo micro buses with a 'Ron Paul' bumper sticker, it makes me wonder.
Sure I want lower taxes, sure I want fiscal responsibility returned to government, but I'd take a tax hike and anything else it took to support our efforts in Iraq to bring freedom and democracy to the middle east and security to America and much of the world. We surrender Iraq, the resulting repercussions will be catastrophic.

Because those people don't do their own research, instead they just look to the pundits that don't want Ron Paul for one liners. I like him for one reason, he is practical.
That he is at 5% nationally and 8% and above in states where he campaigns shows that he could win the nomination.

the machine against Dr Paul is very strong. in the NEW GOP you WILL be pro-war, pro-nation building, pro-tax-through-debt, pro-globalist, anti-national broaders "conservative" or you will fall beneath its wheels.
If his campaign were to really gain traction, an assassins bullet would surely find him
The people giving you thumbs down are supporters of that arch conservative Rudy Gullianni no doubt
Keep up the good fight

Even better, Ron Paul will significantly reduce the size of government, bring troops home and lower taxes. We need this kind of change.
