a no longer person-friendly start up, yet firing Nutt is a foul concept. Arkansas has an honest soccer custom, yet they are not Texas or USC. they are at appropriate a 2nd tier software like UGA, and relatively have been their entire SEC tenure. Nutt has taken them from the humorous tale they have been to a team that would compete interior the West maximum years. it is extremely reliable for a software like Arkansas the place you haven't any longer any reliable interior reach expertise pool, no elite custom, and no extensive draw to circulate to the faculty itself (Fayettville isn't l. a. or Miami regardless of each and every thing). in case you fire Nutt, you're probably to get somebody worse. Even the storied Alabama software have been given became down by potential of Rodriguez and had to pay 1000000000 funds to get that employed gun Saban. Arkansas might have even a harder time luring a action picture star coach. If Nutt is going below .500 for 2 years in a row, you will have reason to fireside him. real now, he's reliable in line for the place Arkansas can realistically desire to be.

Nutt was actually fired before the game against LSU. They told him 2 weeks ago that he would not be back - even the commentators kept talking about the fact that he was coaching his last regular season game as the Arkansas coach. They just waited until after the regular season to make the official announcement.

I think that he didn't do a very good job, achieving the goals of the team. He had very experienced players, who could win any game, but they weren't used to there potential.
Now they have Nutt hired as the head coach at Mississippi.

He had a bad season the rest of the year and didn't get the team up to their potential, Darren McFadden, Felix Jones, and Marcus Monk. I'm sure they will find a good coach because they have good players and have a good recruiting class.
