it seems that 5 weeks ago when nebraska lost its third consecutive game that bill callahan was going to get fired, i mean you dont give up that many points at nebraska and expect to keep your job. but it was also at that same time the the lsu defense started to decline. it looks to me like bo pelini stopped preparing lsu's defense for their upcoming opponents and started preparing for his move to nebraska.

mtneer - im blaming our own coach, the blame falls squarely on the shoulders of the coaches for this one. and yet some how you think im placing blame on someone outside the team, someone who has no control over the performance of the team. you clearly have no idea who im talking about, so please keep your mouth shut.

micheal y - please see above comment and also i believe lsu beat current #6 virginia tech by 41 points. last i checked that a ranked opponent who happens to be in the ACC, not the SEC. you should also keep your mouth shut from now on.

Bo knows he was preparing to go....but there may have been a bit of reading of the press-clips by players on the D & believing that the uniform would intimidate opponents off the field. He may not get the job, as Turner Gill may have been more impressive the past two years by bringing some respectibility to an utterly pathetic Buffalo program.

whoever decided Flynn with a hurt shoulder was going to throw the ball 40+ times is to blame. With 5 good RBs you would think we could run the ball a little more and keep DMac off the field. But you are right about the defense falling off the map 4 weeks ago. Not sure why anyone would want Bo after the last 4 weeks.

Man come on LSU was over rated. Come on would you guys stop making Excuses for the SEC everytime they lose its like you make all these excuses, but when they win then you say how dominate. They lose to two sorry teams hands down plus they didnot play a ranked team out side of the SEC. My problem is if they are so good play ranked teams outside of bowl games everyone does.

one problem though... if he tanks the defense then he will defacto be lowering his stock. if you are going to take another job you would try to do better to negotiate a higher salary. he would do everything possible to get to the NC game. a national championship would probably add a half mil at least to any new contract. same goes for Les Miles. so you are being silly.

What about the crowd? I've heard louder crowds at 5 year old girls soccer games. LSU didn't show up and neither did the fans. Too cocky. I think the wheels are about to fall off.
