I don't think it's possible to read too much. Reading is a great thing and there are too many people who don't. I'm sure you're a very intelligent person and you're a better person for having read so much. For me, I always feel like the more I read the dumber I realize I was. Keep it up! And as far as rereading books, if you enjoy it then go ahead and do it. It's not weird. I've done it several times. I always get more out of a book the 2nd or 3rd time I read it. So don't listen to those who say it's weird, because it's not.

Probably not. Reading in and of itself isn't a problem. It's great that you are really into reading, especially when so many people aren't. Reading is entertaining, and it makes you smarter, even if you are rereading something you read before.
It can become a problem, however, if it interferes with your normal functioning. If you're blowing off your friends to read in your room every weekend, then probably you should cut back on your reading and spend more time socializing. Some people also use fiction as a coping devise, becoming emerged in a story and in a character so they can forget about real life. These people can sometimes have a hard time distinguishing between fiction and reality. If you feel that you are reading a lot to avoid something in your life, then that's fine, but it means that there is an issue that you need to address. And if you're being confused about what's real and what isn't, then you probably need professional help. It doesn't mean you're crazy, it just means that you are repressing some thing that's really bothering you. And you can still read, even if all of that is true. You should just be aware of your reasons for doing so.
And if none of that is true, then you're just a really avid reader, which is AWESOME, and nothing at all to worry about.

Reading is healthy; expands the brain. Yes, it's definitely okay.
If you like reading non-fiction, about what goes on nowadays - I recommend these two -
1) "Under the Loving Care of the Fatherly Leader"
written by Bradley K. Martin
2) "Rogue Regime"
written by Jasper Becker
These two well-written books give an insight about the North Korean Government.
Fiction?
Try all the books written by Clive Cussler.
The hero is Dirk Pitt, with his sidekick Al Giordino. These are well-written.

heck yea! i have 2 bookshelves that are completely full. the rest of my bedroom is filled with piles of books. I have been going to the library every three weeks since I was 5. Every time I go, I have a huge bag of 15-20 books. I don't think there is such a thing as reading too much

Is that okay? That's wonderful! Reading is an important part of developing your linguistic skills, and can be fun too! Plus, I know reading helped me TONS when I had to take history tests... *shudder* I only went by the knowledge I gained from reading novels, and not my textbook ;]

There's no such thing. There is such a thing as reading too little... but not too much. I read all the time - 2 or 3 books at once sometimes.

Darlin', there's no such thing as reading "too much." The written word brings knowledge and knowledge is never wasted. I would suggest, though, that you get more books so that you learn more stuff and thereby acquire more knowledge.
Enjoy!!!
