ok so we all know that a palm tree grows in a tropical climate/beach area right? and we all know that evergreen trees grow in a snowy and sometimes warm climate right? well we all know that you can't grow a palm tree in the snow because it'll freeze and die, but can u grow an evergreen in a year-round warm climate? b/c it can survive both in the cold and warm, but does it NEED winter to survive? random quesiton i know but i'm just curious...thx!

there are heaps of evergreen trees that will grow in all climates & some palm trees will grow in a cold climate
