wat is the flag and the question mark for in minesweeper?

like if u roght click oen of the squars there's a flag and if u right click it again tehre's a question mark

If you suspect that a square might contain a mine, you right-click on it and deposit a flag.

When you return to that square to remove the flag, the question mark is saying "Are you sure you want to unmark this?"

this is how i use it: if i am SURE that there is a bomb in that square i put a flag letting me know so i dont click it and die. if i am unsure of a square, i put the question mark, keep going to other squares.. then once i have more squares figured out, i go back to the question marks to try and figure the rest out.

It's supposed to be used as Flag = mine and ? = maybe mine. There's also an option to disable the ?. One positive of the flag is that you can't left-click a flagged space, so you can't accidentally click on one you know is a mine.
