Do you think yesterday, the pats were relaxed and had less sense of urgency because before the game, they clinched their division, may have underestimated the eagles and were caught off guard. Plus, was it just one of those games that EVERY great team goes through to test their poise and their character, because the game could have easily gone the other way. Do you expect them to bounce back and play better the rest of the way, whether they go undefeated or not?
Or do you think now that teams know how to beat that they will lose some games down the stretch, and possibly be eliminated early in the playoffs.

Shape of things to come.
The defense and the running game are the Patriots fatal flaws. Playoffs one and done.

I wouldn't be surprised to see other teams try to do what the Eagles did to the Pats. The patriots are made up of players who are human, which means they do have weaknesses. And teams will find out sooner or later how to expose those weaknesses. The Eagles,(Who got blown out by Dallas) figured it out. The Cowboys gave them a run for their money the first 3 quarters of the game, and the Colts were ahead all but the last couple of minutes of the game. It is very possible to beat them and i wouldn't be surprised to see it happen in the playoffs.

Bump, and a good learning curve. The Pats D haven't needed to play all season they got a wake up call yesterday, just what they needed to send the perfect season into the stretch run.
Lets face it, Eagles are fighting for there playoff survival. Pats have home field all but locked up. This is the hurdle for the rest of the season, motivate them to play every game without thinking "perfect season"

Even after last night's game I still don't think they'll go down in the regular season...in the playoffs...that's still a maybe, but I dunno...However, like I said before...the offense shined but the defense showed how old they really are. They showed that against the very quick Colts offense, and amazingly against a QB most of us never heard about...Sooner or later, that defense is going to truly show how fragile they are and if I were Coach Bill I would rest the defense as much as possible...they toughened through that game, but the last thing the Patriots want is for that D to completely shatter in the playoffs...which might happen.

Ty regulation is going to help them so lots extra advantageous than human beings look to think of he will. Key rival for the Pats is the Colts, regulation has Manning's extensive sort no remember if Indy followers want to confess it or no longer. He terrorized him each and every twelve months in New England or maybe while he grow to be with the Chiefs they performed Indy interior the Wild Card around in 2006 or maybe nevertheless the Colts won, Ty regulation picked Manning off thrice in that recreation and grow to be particularly lots the soul element that saved KC in that recreation. to no longer point out regulation continues to be a similar CB he grow to be lower back interior the day, he merely hasn't been in NE's device... he prospers in that device and could make a extensive effect for that team if he's signed.

It's not a secret that containing Moss and taking advantage of the defensive middle will hurt the Patriots. Every team knows these things and has been trying all year to do them.
The Patriots had a bad game against a team that probably played their best game of the year...and they still won.
It's good for them to 'come back to earth' a little, but you can bet they will be uber prepared for the rest of the games.

I think they took the Eagles too lightly after knowing they had won the division...You can bet Belichick will be all over them in practice this week...They'll be a lot sharper next week...The Pats are still the best team in the NFL...

I think they just took the game too lightly. I mean, they clinched the division, were favored by 24 points, and returned an interception the first drive of the game.....they thought it was a joke and ended up playing lightly. They still won......niccccee

No, I think that the Eagles were the first team this season to give the Pats a run for their money.
