I had heard there is a haunted wishing well by a restaurant near San Antonio Texas and was trying to find out where it is. We would like to go eat there.

Where was it, was it by a restaurant? My husband lived in San Antonio before and remembers going to a restaurant that had a wishing well that was purported to be haunted.

No not around the Alamo. My husband said there was a restaurant near San Antonio that had a wishing well by it which was supposedly haunted.
He can't remember the name of the restaurant and we wanted to find it because he said it had good food.

Thanks for the answer on the wishing well. I'm really not concerned that the well is haunted. I was actually trying to find the restaurant where it is. My husband said it was a great restaurant to eat at. Believe me I know about ghosts as I have seen one.

I think you might mean the one around the Alamo. I found no site to back this up though.:)

The San Antonio Paranormal Network who keep an extensive list of Texas hauntings and a very exhaustive listing of any reported hauntings in San Antonio, have no listing for a haunted wishing well in San Antonio, near a restaurant or otherwise.

Additionally, I have lived in or around San Antonio for over 50 years and do not recall a resaurant with a wishing well nearby. I tried searching for one in local restaurant guides and some copies of an entertainment magazine we used to publish with restaurant reviews and found no mention of the well.

Good luck with your search!

each of the missions have a wishing well... none of which are haunted. your husband was badly mistaken... just visit the japanese grave yard, or the espada mission for floating nuns, or the insane asylum off of southton rd in south sa. or midget mansion.. or the donkey lady bridge.. lol, ive visited all of the places.. nothing abnormal.. san antonio is pretty much a holy grail.. no paranormal here... ooo almost forgot, the tracks.. infamous ghost tracks.. near mission san jose... which was made a special on 20/20 (abc) where it was determined that it is a magnetic material that was used in the making of the steel of the tracks that propel the cars frame... yea, no paranormal here...
