(Question from my mom) shes 5 foot 4 and 127 pounds and shes's been having leg spasms/ cramps in her calves and thighs and its been going on for 7 days now. what should she do? bananas arent helping.. anything? pleaase help

It may be caused by excess lactic acid (from milk or dairy products) in her system. Have her try avoiding dairy products for a few days and see if that helps. It happens to me and that's what I do.

* remain fully hydrated by drinking a little more water than usual
* take a Magnesium supplement (not potassium - which is in bananas)
* apply heat to the muscles with a hot water bottle or heating pad
* try gentle stretches after the muscles are warmed up
* after stretching and heat, massage the muscles.
