It's for a gift game and participants are women, men, boys and girls ranging in ages from 16 to 60+! I was thinking a magic eight ball or some kind of puzzle game. We're supposed to keep it around $5, but I think $10 is more realistic. Any ideas?

The good news is that the youngest participant in your group is 16. Last year we did it within the family and the youngest was 5 years old. He was soooooo not interested in the wine glasses he got..hahah.

Ok anyway, here were some of the "anyone" ideas that worked out well:

Candy
Cookies
Ornament
Christmas Music CD
Photo Frame

Oh wow. That is quite the range of ages! Here's some ideas:

- Candies or foods (Everyone likes to eat, right?)
- Scarf (If you live where its cold) [Everyone wears scarves these days in the winter and if you just get a bright striped one, it will work for almost anyone]
- Puzzle game is definitely good idea!
- Picture frames (I know, I know, this is more female-geared, but most guys I know do have pics of their family or significant other on display and a nice frame is usually appreciated)
- Car wash coupons or gas card (Everyone drives)

i hope these help! :)

What about gift cards for Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts? Maybe even McDonald's.

That sounds like a good idea.

Maybe a fleece blanket (sofa).

Maybe a gift card to a local coffee shop.

They have all kinds of boxed Hot Chocolate and Candy gift box sets at Walmart, Target, ShopKo and Kmart, I am sure there would be something there you could find.
