I've given this some thought and I really can't come up with an answer. They just flock to me and trap me in conversations that I don't want to engage in but don't want to be rude and tell them to go away. They don't seem to take subtle hints. Examples: I have a neighbor that comes over at least twice per night to borrow ice. I gave him an ice tray and he still does it. There's this crazy guy down the street who follows us everywhere but will only speak to me (though he stares super hard at Bren), the examples are endless. Any thoughts?

Hiss at them like a cat and take a swipe at them. Maybe they'll think you're the weirdo and leave YOU alone from now on. I'm a freak magnet and Dear Abby rolled into one - lucky me.
As for Mr. Ice, say Nooooo we're fresh out! then slam the door. He just wants to look at you or some other freaky thing. As for that other guy, Bren needs to hiss at him like a cat and take a swipe at him.

Talk to your parents about this, they will be able to help you figure something out. It may be that you just need to confront the guy in question and tell him clearly and in front of witnesses that you are not interested, you have never been interested, and if he doesn't leave you alone you will call the police and report him as a stalker. Sometimes you can be too nice, yes. There are times when it is necessary to get a bit nasty, to get a point across.
