I would 10 is too many for a 20 year old.
Think about it this way:
Let's say you've has sex with 5 people and each of them has had sex with another 5 people on average so that brings us to 25. Now think that each of those has had sex with 5 people....and each of those people has had sex with 5 people on average and so on and so on...etc...! Pretty scary isn't it. You HAVE to be as careful as possible in these days of many many communicable diseases.

Well, I am 22 and I don't have that many, but I could care less about what the "appropriate" number would be. I don't judge anyone on the number of partners they have had, as long as the used protection with each and everyone of them, when diseases get spread around, then I start to care!

For a 20 year old....probably 6. And that's pushing it.
But I'd rather go by the rule that if you cant remember their name, exactly when it happened, or if you've had 3 or more in any one month, then something's wrong.
Btw...I'm 23.

I think 10 at a time is a very safe limit and will allow you years of pleasure yet to come before you're worn completely out.
